An Exclusive Honor Reserved for Grit & Grace Leadership Academy Girls

Each year, one middle school student and one high school student enrolled in the Grit & Grace Leadership Academy are selected to receive the Grit & Grace Leadership Scholarship.

These young ladies are chosen not only for what they’ve accomplished, but for how they lead, how they show up for others, and how they represent the values of Grit & Grace in their daily lives.

In addition to receiving the scholarship, each recipient is named a Grit & Grace Student Ambassador, representing Grit & Grace Nation throughout the following year.

Scholarship Awards

Middle School Leadership Scholarship

Total Value: $5,000 (includes cash + prizes)

Recipients receive:

  • $1,500 cash scholarship
  • VIP hotel and travel for the scholarship winner and her family during
  • Grit & Grace Family Reunion + Honors Weekend at the PBR World Finals in Fort Worth, Texas
  • Honored as a Scholarship Winner in the PBR Parade alongside her Grit & Grace sisters
  • Ambassadorship opportunity
  • Represent Grit & Grace at sanctioned events with one parent or guardian
  • Montana Silversmiths custom belt buckle
  • American Hat Co. custom felt hat
  • Customized leadership experience tailored to the recipient
  • Western Sports Foundation experience (details coming soon)

High School Leadership Scholarship

Total Value: $10,000 (includes cash + prizes)

Recipients receive:

  • $5,000 cash scholarship

More Than a Scholarship…
A Leadership Honor

Being named a Grit & Grace Leadership Ambassador is a high honor. Scholarship recipients:

  • Are recognized on a national stage
  • Represent Grit & Grace Nation at select events and experiences
  • Serve as role models to other girls in the Leadership Academy
  • Help carry the mission of Grit & Grace forward both in person and online

Who Is Eligible:

  • Middle school and high school girls who are actively enrolled in the Grit & Grace Leadership Academy
  • Scholarship opportunities are awarded through the Academy and are not open to public submission

How to Be Considered

Each year, one middle school student and one high school student enrolled in the Grit & Grace Leadership Academy will be selected to receive the Grit & Grace Leadership Scholarship and serve as Grit & Grace Student Ambassadors for the following year.

Girls are considered through a video submission process shared exclusively with Leadership Academy participants. As part of the submission, girls are invited to reflect on:

  • How they lead in their everyday lives
  • What grit and grace mean to them
  • How they represent Grit & Grace within their families, schools, and communities
  • Why they would be honored to serve as a Grit & Grace Student Ambassador

Video Submission Details

To be considered for the Grit & Grace Leadership Scholarship, please follow these video guidelines:

  • Length: Videos must be 90 seconds or less
  • Speak clearly: Make sure your voice is easy to hear and understand
  • Apply what you’ve learned: Use the presentation skills you’ve practiced in the Leadership Academy to communicate clearly and confidently
  • Professional and authentic: Be confident, thoughtful, and true to who you are
  • Be creative: You’re encouraged to thoughtfully present and edit your video in a way that reflects your personality and leadership style
  • Stay focused: Keep your message clear and aligned with the prompt
