Why Parents Choose Grit & Grace Nation
“I have seen a gentleness begin to form within my daughter because of the girls and women she has the opportunity to be around with Grit & Grace. I think every 16 year old struggles with some sort of imposter syndrome or maybe not being authentic to who they are or who they want to become. In many ways because of Grit & Grace I think Olive is beginning to see more of who she is and is able to marry that with who she wants to become. I’m thinking Grit & Grace will be able to teach our whole family the core values of exactly what it stands for.“
— Josh Eggers, Grit & Grace Dad

History
From One Woman’s Vision to a Nationwide Movement
Grit & Grace was founded by 15-time Emmy-winning journalist and national TV host Fanchon Stinger. After decades of sharing stories from around the world, Fanchon felt called to shape the next generation.
In 2021, she launched Grit & Grace Nation at the PBR World Finals in Las Vegas. What began as a bold scholarship contest quickly grew into a full-scale leadership development movement.
Since then, Grit & Grace has launched:
- A nationwide Leadership Academy with a proprietary curriculum
- 10+ local chapters from Arkansas to Colorado to Palm Desert
- An annual $10,000 scholarship and ambassador contest
- The Generations of Grit & Grace Conference
- Support for young professionals after high school
And we’re just getting started.
Meet Fanchon Stinger
Fanchon Stinger is a 15-time Emmy Award–winning journalist, national TV host, and inspirational speaker.
After decades of sharing stories as a trusted journalist, Fanchon saw a different kind of story unfolding: one of crisis among young girls, marked by rising anxiety, isolation, and confusion. In response, she launched Grit & Grace Nation: a bold movement to equip girls with courage, confidence, and character through mentorship, leadership training, and values that last.
Today, Fanchon leads the Grit & Grace Leadership Academy, mentors girls across the country, and continues to create positive media that uplifts the next generation. Her story is one of resilience, faith, and a deep commitment to helping young women become all they were created to be.
